Hello Dear,

Hope you’re fine? I just have some simple question that got me a little bit confuse, which I strongly believe you may have an answer to it.

Why do people becomes so scared and skeptical at the mentioning of the name COVID-19 or Vaccine? Do you know that even my pastor whom I addressed as the MAN OF FAITH is also scared and skeptical when covid or Vaccine is mentioned! SMILES…. Never mind am not an exception

Sometime I wonder if all this anxiety/fears is happening just because I didn’t forward this piece of write up to you.

Do you also know that misinformation or distrust of Vaccine can be like a contagion that can spread as fast as a measles?

Let’s talk about vaccine a little bit.

FACTS ABOUT VACINE

A vaccination is a biological preparation that boosts the immune system against a certain illness. A vaccine usually involves an agent that looks like a disease-causing microorganism, and it's usually created from damaged or destroyed versions of the microbe or its toxins.

The agent activates the immune system to identify the agent as alien, kill it, and "remember" it so that the immune system can recognize and destroy all of these microorganisms it finds later. Or can be simply described as: -

A substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GETTING VACINATED?

The COVID-19 vaccines produce protection against the disease, as a result of developing an immune response to the SARS-Cov-2 virus.  Developing immunity through vaccination means there is a reduced risk of developing the illness and its consequences. This immunity helps you fight the virus if exposed.

Getting vaccinated may also protect people around you, because if you are protected from getting infected and from the disease, you are less likely to infect someone else. This is particularly important to protect people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19, such as healthcare providers, older or elderly adults, and people with other medical conditions.

You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all worlds problems at once, but don’t ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can be on a life of its’s own.

BE COURAGIOUS!
